Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training

The Emergency First Response® Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course offers a convenient blend of online self-study and in-person training. It is designed to be flexible, allowing you to learn at your own pace. You have the freedom to practice each skill until you feel confident before progressing to the next one.

INDEPENDENT STUDY

With online training, incorporating a CPR and first aid course into your busy schedule has never been easier. Access videos demonstrating various first aid techniques and acquire knowledge on the necessary steps to take during emergencies. Whether you prefer studying online or offline, using a computer or mobile device, the choice is yours. In case you have any questions, you can easily connect with your instructor for guidance.

The eLearning component of the course typically requires a time commitment of 2-4 hours, allowing you to complete it at your own convenience.

AT THE DIVE SHOP

Learn eight essential skills for helping others in an emergency. Get hands-on experience administering CPR using a special manikin, practice splinting, bandaging, and apply your new skills in a role-playing scenario.

Medical Requirements for this course

If you (or your physician) have questions about medical fitness to dive, contact the experts at Divers Alert Network (DAN).

Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters, and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

For the sake of hygiene, it is necessary for all students to have their own set of personal barriers, including items such as gloves, bandages for practical simulations, and a ventilation barrier. I want to change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with my eLearning account. Can I do this?

Once registered, you can’t change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with your online program. However, the eRecord you receive when you complete your online study is accepted by any PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor worldwide. Where you complete your training is your choice, so it’s not necessary to change the store or instructor associated with your eLearning account.

If you go somewhere without internet access, or during your next flight use the PADI Training app. Download your course course content and study offline. Content can be downloaded in small sections with a total file size of approximately 1.10 GB. When you get back online, upload your progress so you can resume your training right where you left off.
