How do I become a certified PADI Deep diver.
When you venture below 18 metres/60 feet while diving, there are important safety factors to keep in mind. However, if you're eager to push your limits and explore even further, a PADI Instructor is ready to assist you in developing the necessary skills and building your confidence. With their guidance, you'll have the opportunity to dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet, unlocking new underwater adventures.

INDEPENDENT STUDY
With PADI eLearning, incorporating scuba lessons into your hectic schedule has never been easier. You can now complete the independent study portion of your course at your own convenience, regardless of time or location.
You have the freedom to work at your own pace, either online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Whether you have a spare moment during your commute or prefer studying from the comfort of your couch, the choice is yours. Plus, whenever you need guidance or have a question, you can easily connect with your instructor.
The time commitment for eLearning is minimal, ranging from 2 to 4 hours. This allows you to allocate your time effectively and efficiently while gaining valuable knowledge for your scuba diving journey.

AT THE DIVE SHOP
During four dives you make with a PADI Instructor, you'll practice descents, buoyancy and safety stops. Through hands-on exercises, you'll discover how deep dives affect color, physical objects and your brain.

- Total time commitment: 2-3 days (dives must be completed over a minimum of two days)

Medical Requirements for this course
If you (or your physician) have questions about medical fitness to dive, contact the experts at Divers Alert Network (DAN).
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters, and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

Other costs involved in this course
To obtain certification for this course, you will need to complete both knowledge development and in-water training. When you purchase PADI eLearning through our website, the cost covers the knowledge development portion exclusively.
However, please note that there is an additional cost associated with completing your certification alongside a PADI Instructor. The exact price depends on factors such as class size, the diving environment, and whether or not you require equipment rental. In addition to the basic scuba equipment, it is essential to have a dive computer for the course. It is also recommended to have a dive light and a slate. To determine any additional items you may need to provide for the course, we encourage you to consult with your PADI Instructor. They will provide you with specific guidance on the necessary equipment for a successful training experience.
I want to change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with my eLearning account. Can I do this?
Once registered, you can’t change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with your online program. However, the eRecord you receive when you complete your online study is accepted by any PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor worldwide. Where you complete your training is your choice, so it’s not necessary to change the store or instructor associated with your eLearning account.

If you go somewhere without internet access, or during your next flight use the PADI Training app. Download your course course content and study offline. Content can be downloaded in small sections with a total file size of approximately 1.10 GB. When you get back online, upload your progress so you can resume your training right where you left off.
