Certification Requirements and Equipment for the Course

To obtain certification for this course, you will need to complete both knowledge development and in-water training. When you purchase PADI eLearning from our website, the cost covers the knowledge development portion only.

However, please note that there is an additional cost associated with completing your certification under the guidance of a PADI Instructor. The exact cost depends on factors such as class size, the diving environment, and whether or not equipment rental is required. For detailed information about pricing and further inquiries, we recommend contacting a PADI Dive Center or Resort. They will provide you with the most accurate information and guide you through the process.

In terms of equipment, besides the basic scuba gear, it is essential to have both a primary and backup dive light (torch). Consider purchasing your own equipment rather than renting it. This way, you can learn and familiarize yourself with your specific gear during the course, ensuring optimal comfort and ease of use.

Additionally, to ensure maximum comfort during night diving, you might want to consider additional exposure protection, such as a thicker wetsuit, hood, or gloves. These items can help you stay warm and comfortable underwater while exploring the nocturnal wonders of the deep.

I want to change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with my eLearning account. Can I do this?

Once registered, you can’t change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with your online program. However, the eRecord you receive when you complete your online study is accepted by any PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor worldwide. Where you complete your training is your choice, so it’s not necessary to change the store or instructor associated with your eLearning account.
