Why should I reactivate?
Dive shops also appreciate seeing a recent ReActivated date on your certification card. Your PADI certification never expires; but if you haven't been diving in a while, it's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important.

INDEPENDENT STUDY
It is very easy to fit your scuba refresher course into your busy schedule. Using a mobile device or a computer, watch videos of how to perform basic scuba skills and review dive planning and safety procedures. You can do this - whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.
Connect with an instructor for a in-water session, or whenever you have a question.

AT THE DIVE SHOP
You can ask for an optional in-water session where you'll practice setting up your dive gear, make ascents and descents, and review any scuba skills you may have forgotten.

Medical Requirements for this course
If you (or your physician) have questions about medical fitness to dive, contact the experts at Divers Alert Network (DAN).
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters, and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

When you purchase a PADI eLearning course from Start Diving Online or directly from PADI, the cost covers the knowledge development portion only.
There will be an additional cost for the optional in-water training from the PADI reactivate refresher program
I want to change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with my eLearning account. Can I do this?
Once registered, you can’t change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with your online program. However, the eRecord you receive when you complete your online study is accepted by any PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor worldwide. Where you complete your training is your choice, so it’s not necessary to change the store or instructor associated with your eLearning account.

PADI eLearning: 2-3 hours.
Optional in-water training: 2-6 hours.

If you go somewhere without internet access, or during your next flight use the PADI Training app. Download your course course content and study offline. Content can be downloaded in small sections with a total file size of approximately 1.10 GB. When you get back online, upload your progress so you can resume your training right where you left off.
The PADI Training app is available for Android™ and Apple® iOS devices. For the ideal experience, devices should be no more than three models old and running with the most current OS (operating system).
